Invisalign® Clear Aligners
With Invisalign®, you can skip the metal brackets and wires for good! Consisting of a series of clear plastic aligners that fit over the top and bottom teeth, Invisalign gradually corrects misalignment as time goes on much like traditional braces. To create custom sets of aligners made only for you, our orthodontists will use the iTero intraoral scanner to capture digital impressions of your teeth.
Progressive Aligners
Our very own Progressive clear aligners are designed for patients who have minimal tooth crowding and other minor dental issues. While our orthodontists will still need to examine your smile prior to recommending this form of treatment, you can expect for it to be much quicker from start to finish. If achieving ideal alignment in a short amount of time is your goal, these aligners may be for you.
Traditional Braces
Regular metal braces may have been around for some time, but it’s for good reason. Every component works efficiently to move teeth into position and fix bite issues over time. This traditional option is a go-to for our orthodontists as it works great for patients of all ages who come in wanting help with a wide range of dental problems.
Ceramic Braces
Ceramic braces work in the same way as their metal alternative but the components are much more toned down in appearance. The brackets, for example, are made from polycrystalline alumina or a form of ceramic which allows for a tooth-colored look that otherwise can’t be achieved with stainless steel. Our orthodontists can also complement these camouflaged brackets with an enamel-colored archwire.
Carriere® Distalizer™
Removing permanent teeth is not always the best solution, but may be considered when a bite issue exists. That’s where the Carriere® Distalizer™ comes in. No longer does extraction have to be the only way as the Carriere appliance uses gentle, low force on molars much like headgear but without the bulk.
iTero® Element™ Intraoral Scanner
Taking digital impressions has never been easier than with the iTero® Element™ intraoral scanner. Forget the mess, goop, or unpleasant patient experience. With an iTero scanner, our orthodontists can create detailed and accurate 3D images of your mouth in just a few minutes.
Diode Laser Treatment
Feeling self-conscious about a “gummy” smile? Our orthodontists can use a specialized diode laser to safely remove excess gum tissue and expose more of your tooth’s surface. This procedure not only provides a cosmetic benefit, but can also make it easier for our staff to place brackets or assist in a tooth’s eruption.
Surgical Orthodontics
Formerly known as orthognathic surgery, surgical orthodontics is employed by our orthodontists when a patient has severe jawbone abnormalities, bite issues, or malocclusion. Oftentimes, a procedure of this nature is recommended when existing skeletal problems impact the ability to bite, chew, and speak properly.
